Care instructions

Our jewellery is made from 14k gold plated or 14k gold filled. It is always nickel and lead free which makes it great for sensitive skin.

Due to the nature of gold plated jewellery, it can tarnish over time; however we use e-coating to make it more durable.

Our gold filled jewellery, also known as rolled gold or gold bonded, is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal - usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight, increasing its durability. 

You can extend the life of your jewellery by keeping it dry, away from sprays, gels, lotions and creams and keeping it in an airtight container.

We highly recommend removing it to wash your hands and apply hand gel, and do not wear it in the shower, swimming pool or sea.

Creams such as suncream, body creams, tanning lotions and moisturiser can shorten its lifespan. Spraying it with perfume is another no-go so make sure your jewellery is the last item you put on and the first item you take off.
