Our jewellery is made from 14k gold plated or 14k gold filled. It is always nickel and lead free which makes it great for sensitive skin.

Due to the nature of gold plated jewellery, it can tarnish over time; however we use e-coating to make it more durable.

Our gold filled jewellery, also known as rolled gold or gold bonded, is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal - usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight, increasing its durability.

You can extend the life of your jewellery by keeping it dry, away from sprays, gels, lotions and creams and keeping it in an airtight container.

We highly recommend removing it to wash your hands and apply hand gel, and do not wear it in the shower, swimming pool or sea.

Creams such as suncream, body creams, tanning lotions and moisturiser can shorten its lifespan. Spraying it with perfume is another no-go so make sure your jewellery is the last item you put on and the first item you take off.

TEMPEST + QUEEN take great pride and care in handcrafting, handmaking and packaging your products to order and to the highest quality. Because of this and a high number of orders, we may need up to 5 working days to create and dispatch your order.

POSTAGE + PACKAGING COSTS

UK

Hermes standard tracked delivery is £3.95 and usually takes 2-3 days from dispatch in the current situation.

Express delivery using Hermes tracked parcel delivery is £6 and usually takes 1-2 days from dispatch in the current situation.

Orders over £75 qualify for free delivery using Hermes express parcel delivery, which usually takes 1-2 days from dispatch in the current situation.

Royal Mail guaranteed next working day delivery will arrive by 4pm the day after dispatch and is £8.

Refunds and Exchanges

We hope you are delighted with your TEMPEST+ QUEEN jewellery! However, if there is a problem please contact us at hello@tempestandqueen.com.

If you are not happy with your purchase, we offer refunds or exchanges up to 30 days after your purchase; no refunds on sale items.

We recommend you return items using recorded delivery as refunds will not be actioned until returns are received, and items returned need to be unworn and in original packaging. Please contact us for the returns address. Postage costs to be covered by customer.

Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot exchange or refund earrings unless faulty.
